BBC To Introduce iTunes Alternative For UK Media Consumers

According to a recent report from Reuters, BBC is planning an iTunes-style downloading service code name “Project Barcelona” for UK media consumers that would allows users to get recent or archived broadcasts from the BBC online store for a “modest fee”.

BBC Director General Mark Thompson did not specify a time of release or pricing information. Thompson did clarify that the software will be like going into a store and buying a DVD. iTunes 10.5 Released In Preparation For Apple’s iOS 5 and iCloud

Apple Releases iTunes 10.3.1, Fixes Syncing Issue

Just a day after releasing iTunes 10.3 to support some early iCloud features such as automatic downloads and access to previously purchased content, Apple has released iTunes 10.3.1, to fix critical issues in the application.
