1. Open Cydia > Manage > Sources 2. Edit source and add http://repo.benm.at 3. Search Frash and install it.

You can now get your very own version of Flash running right on your iPhone. It is an alpha version of Flash (dubbed Frash) which was previously shown on the iPad. The folks over at the Grant Pannell site have managed to compile an iPhone 4 version of Flash. The credit goes to Comex, the same person behind the Spirit and JailbreakMe tools for the iOS devices. Without their hard work this would not have been possible.
If you want to get Frash for your iPhone 4 working then follow the instructions below. According to the source, the version of Flash (Frash) will work on the iPad, iPhone 3GS, and iPod Touch as well. Many [...]

Apple recently turns its attention to software today with a new version of their Safari browser. Safari 5.0.1 has activated Safari extensions, basically HTML5, CSS3, and Javascript coded add-ons and plug-ins, which can be installed from the Safari Extensions Gallery. Safari 5 made its debut in June, boasting 30% speed over version 4 of the browser and twice the speed of Firefox 3.6. Users also get a new Reader mode, which basically strips out all the extraneous ads, images, and content from a webpage, leaving only the text behind in an easy-to-consume format.
Extensions, meanwhile, each run in their own, sandboxed slot, with Apple using digital signatures to try to ensure some degree of safety. [...]

Google has recently worked out a new way to embed videos that presents the right version of the company’s YouTube video player depending on your system’s compatibility. Video’s embedded with the new code will be seen in either an Adobe Flash wrapper or in the company’s HTML5 player, opening up viewing to a potentially broader audience and without extra effort for the person who embedded a video in the first place.
According to Google, the company plans to roll out the new code format as the new default for YouTube embeds. Currently the code is still being tested. An example of a current issue is the HTML5 player compared to [...]

Despite Apple’s attempt to hinder Adobe, the company is still out and about – this time they released a little demo software of FlashTime, which allows peer-to-peer calls on the Android platform. Built using the upcoming Air 2.5, this peer-to-peer video chat client uses your smartphone’s camera to get direct visual communication going with your fellow Android fan. Android users already have other options, such as Fring, to do the same exact thing but the main point is that you can do just about anything with Flash and since it’s Flash, it is easy to port around to other platforms. Adobe’s Mark Doherty did mention that there are no plans to release the client [...]

After porting a preliminary release of Flash to the iPhone, the guy behind the untethered Spirit jailbreak (@Comex) for iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch has now managed to run “real” Flash content on a jailbroken Apple iPad. Given the name “Frash”, this is basically a port of Adobe Flash runtime for Android running on an iPad using a compatibility layer. It looks pretty promising since it’s coming from the well known iPhone hacker and it definitely gives many users a sigh of relief knowing that a more solid build of Flash is in progress for the iPad.
The YouTube description of the video explains everything about the port. You can find the description below:
Frash is [...]
