Turn-By-Turn Navigation Coming To iPhone Maps App Via Cydia Tweak

1

A new Cydia tweak that allows iPhone users to get turn-by-turn voice navigation directly from Apple’s native Google Maps app was said to be released recently. This feature is one that was available on Android for quite some time, but iPhone users have had to rely completely on third-party apps, some of which are quite expensive. Services similar to MapQuest also offer turn-by-turn navigation but having the voice navigation feature built in to the phone’s native app is a very nice addition for many users.

As of right now, the tweak is just said to be “coming soon” to the Cydia store. There is More >

It seems as if Sony appears to be at war with Apple and is currently threatening to pull its music from iTunes and their games from the App Store as well. Sony currently has plans on opening their own version of iTunes, an online streaming service called Music Unlimited. A service that will bring PlayStation titles to mobile platforms beginning with the Android platform. Maybe Sony is not happy about having their reader app rejected by Apple and seems to be taking their frustration out on the end users? Perhaps Sony just wants a piece of the of the pie that includes music and apps. Michael More >
