The most vocal member of the iPhone Dev Team, MuscleNerd seems to be confirming that GeoHot already has a working untethered iOS 4.2.1 jailbreak solution but one that may not work for all iOS devices. This was discovered in a recent reply to a tweet sent out by a user named iPodguy79. We recently posted about a recent discovery of yet another domain dubbed “rubyra1n” by Geohot and this may be the name of his new jailbreak utility.

The much anticipated JailbreakMe 3.0 untethered jailbreak solution for users currently using iOS 4.2.1 may be delayed until further notice; this time dependent on the release of iOS 4.3. An Italian site recently contacted @Comex; the dev behind Spirit and JailbreakMe to ask him about his plans for releasing his untethered jailbreak tool for iOS 4.2.1. Comex replied with a sift and simple (similar to Steve Job style e-mails) that it all depends when iOS 4.3 is out. A new hack for the Kinect allows players to become even closer to their avatar in World of Warcraft. The popular hacker of the Chronic Dev-Team and the master mind behind the Greenpois0n jailbreak tool, p0sixninja just recently posted on Twitter that the untethered jailbreak for the iPad, iPhone, and iPod Touch running on iOS 4.2.1 is coming soon using the new version of the Greenpois0n tool. According to him, the new version of the greenpois0n tool will be supported for all iDevices.
