Apple recently changed a rule that previously prevented publishers from charging more for content via the iTunes store than they do outside of Apple’s store. The rule before the change, which was apparently accepted by a number of publishers, stated that all in-app subscriptions, and purchases could only be available for purchase outside of the iTunes store and outside of iOS applications for the same price inside the store. This was an attempt by Apple to assure that they would receive their 30% cut that all publishers have to agree to when selling content through Apple.

Apple Releases iTunes 10.3.1, Fixes Syncing Issue

Just a day after releasing iTunes 10.3 to support some early iCloud features such as automatic downloads and access to previously purchased content, Apple has released iTunes 10.3.1, to fix critical issues in the application.

Popular iPhone hacker, iH8sn0w recently released iFaith, originally codenamed Project iF, after his first live demo of the application. A previous announcement  gave information on where to watch for the release of iFaith but it was unknown about what the project consisted of and what its true name was. Apple’s iOS App Store, which is home to over 500,000 applications is currently down according to many tips we are receiving from our readers. Reports of the first outage came in shortly after 2:00 PM Eastern time.
