After hacking Playstation 3 SKU, Geohot has landed in some hot water, legally but that isn’t stopping the restless hacker from venturing deeper into Sony’s product line. In a recent interview in an American TV show “The Alyona”, he made clear that he is not afraid of “Sony” and voiced his intention to root upcoming Sony’s Ericsson Xperia Play & Apple’s iPhone 5. Recently we have gotten reports from several different sources that Sony is developing a ‘hack-proof’ PlayStation 3 to tackle piracy and the new PS3 might replace all currently existing PS3 SKUs very soon.

PS3 is the main target of hacker from couple of weeks. It seems that hackers didn’t take the Sony’s actions against Geohot seriously because another hack has come on scene by which you can stop your PS3 to get updated on any next firmware automatically. Rebug team just released a spoofer v3.56 for PS3 which will do the above said task.

Infamous hacker Geohot announced on his blog that he does not have exploit to unlock iPhone 4 on baseband 02.10.04 or 03.10.01. According to Hotz, Apple has closed the BB holes and he is using his iPhone 3GS instead.

Last month Sony filed a lawsuit against George Hotz, also known as Geohot, for bypassing the effective technology measures. As in the latest blog post Geohot has announced his next project and it is the Sony Ericsson XPERIA Play, the best Android gaming phone 2011.

GeoHot Asks For Donations To Fight Against Sony In New Blog

Reports Suggest – Sony PSN Hacked; Credit Card Security Exposed

A recent report by Ars Technica suggested that a hacker claiming to have broken into the PlayStation Network (PSN) and in the process discovered that potentially sensitive data, including credit card information is being saved and forwarded to Sony, perhaps unencrypted.
