iH8sn0w has released Sn0wbreeze 2.8 b4 to jailbreak iOS 5 beta 3 on iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch. As always, Sn0wbreeze is a Windows jailbreak tool.
iH8sn0w (@iH8sn0w) recently tweeted that he has updated Sn0wbreeze 2.8 to support iOS 5 beta 3. His message said the following:

Swype Currently Being Ported To iOS By Jailbreak Developer

One of the features that has previously not been implemented in iOS devices was the popular alternative to the simple tap to type. With its patented sliding and recognition technology, swiping your finger through the letters of the word you are spelling out will spell out the word you desire. According tot he Swype website, the software has been deployed to over 26 million phones in 50+ countries. The entire list comprises of Android and Windows OS phones. TinyUmbrella Updated To 5.00.02; Fixes Issue With Saving CDMA iPhone 4 SHSH Blobs

The iOS developer, @Notcom recently released an updated version of his Tiny Umbrella tool, version 5.00.02. The new version also fixes an issue that caused the 5.0b1 SHSH blobs for the CDMA iPhone 4 to get overwritten. The changelog for the update can be found below:

Comex’s JailbreakMe 3.0 recently went live for all iDevices on iOS 4.3.3 and the PDF exploit the tool utilizes was the first to successfully jailbreak the iPad 2. The much anticipated JailbreakMe 3.0 has finally been released by Comex. Due to the leaks over the past weekend, the kernel drivers are still buggy, but Comex wanted to release the jailbreak tool before Apple patched with iOS 4.3.4. The devices that are currently supported include:

JailbreakMe 3.0 Release Date Leaked – Said To Be July 5th

For people who didn’t already know, JailbreakMe 3.0 was leaked earlier this holiday weekend and Comex has been racing against Apple to release the official jailbreak tool before Apple patches it with iOS 4.3.4. Speculation previously pointed to Comex having a little less than 10 days to release his jailbreak tool. The speculation was solely coming from the fact that it took Apple 10 days to patch the exploit for JailbreakMe 2.0 and this time around, Apple probably had teams on standby awaiting for the tool to be released.

Comex Racing Against Time To Finish and Release JailbreakMe 3.0

Earlier today, a tester for JailbreakMe 3.0 leaked a wi-fi iPad 2 .pdf, which essentially contained part of the code utilized in the iPad 2 jailbreak soon to be found in JailbreakMe 3.0. It is expected that Apple will be patching the exploit being used in an upcoming patch leaving the hacker comex, to race against the clock.
