Kinect Hacked With FAAST Allows Player More Immersed Gameplay
1A new hack for the Kinect allows players to become even closer to their avatar in World of Warcraft. With an open source framework tool called OpenUI and a Kinect, University of Southern California researcher Evan Suma and his team have hacked together a middleware program called Flexible Action and Articulated Skeleton, or FAAST. This program allows users to plug their Kinect directly into their computer and use it in the place of a keyboard and mouse for the game World of Warcraft. The software takes real-world gestures and translates them to commands for moving, casting spells, and other More >

Possible Solution For WP7 FreeMarketplace Cracked Apps Found By Its Developer
2As we already reported on, a simple crack could be used to strip the Digital Rights Management (DRM) tools in place on the applications from the Marketplace thus allowing a free download and install of any app on any Windows Phone 7 device. This situation could have easily turned dire for Microsoft, but surprisingly it took a completely different and unexpected turn. The developer of FreeMarketplace, the tool needed to crack the DRM, has decided to turn all his information and knowledge over to Microsoft and has begun to find a permanent solution.
The developer named Tobias, the mastermind More >
Go Native Cydia Tweak Enables Native iOS 4.x Multitasking On Restricted Apps
0A new tweak named Go Native has been released on Cydia. This is a free tweak which gives you the ability to run applications in the background natively on applications that don’t support it yet. The developer said that this is an alternative to the tweak Backgrounder, in case you want native iOS 4 multitasking on all applications. One important thing to note is that this tweak only supports iOS devices that support native multitasking, so devices like the iPhone 3G are not supported. This tweak does not add any additional icons to you SpringBoard, but it’s configurable through the Setting More >
[How To] Downgrade iPhone 3G Baseband 06.15.00 to 05.13.xx With FuzzyBand
1The following method will help you downgrade the baseband of your iPhone 3G from 06.15.00 to 5.13.xx, which is unlockable using UltraSn0w. This method will also enable you to restore your device to the official stock firmware using iTunes, which was otherwise not possible on the iPad’s 06.15.00 baseband.
The method currently only works with the iPhone 3G with bootloader 5.8 and the procedure is pretty straightforward, although we would not recommend it to novice users. We also suggest that you back everything up on your device before following the procedure. Proceed at your own More >

[How To] Add Spaces and Remove Apps On iPad Nano 6G SpringBoard
0Just recently, developer James Whelton hacked the new iPod Nano 6G and was able to replace an app from its springboard with a blank space. By doing this he has now opened a door for a possible jailbreak. Following the simple steps in this guide will teach you how to remove apps and insert blank space to an iPod Nano 6G SpringBoard running the current 1.0 firmware.

iPod Nano 6G DFU Mode Discovered [Video]
0We’ve already seen James Whelton hack the six generation iPod Nano. Now, Steven Troughton-Smith has discovered what seems to be the DFU mode for the same device. He reached it by holding down the restart button until he got a black screen and iTunes sees the device.
Steven modified iRecovery to work with the iPod Nano (had to add its DFU/Recovery USB ID) and allow it to send files. He then tested it with some files he had previously extracted from the iPod Nano 6G firmware using the extract2g tool. disk.fw and osos.fw work (one boots disk mode and the other boots to a homescreen). Windows Phone 7 Marketplace App-Security Cracked; Proof-of-Concept
0Recently, the folks over at XDA posted about (and since pulled) publicly available information that outlined how the WP7 Marketplace could be cracked. To some this was new and for others it was very old. For developers, the weakness was found in Microsoft’s DRM for Windows Phone 7 applications and had been well known for quite some time. There have also been many calls for Microsoft to address these concerns; an example can be found here on their official forums.
Since then, a security expert provided a proof-of-concept program that can successfully pull any application from the More >
Hacked iPod Nano May Lead To Possible Jailbreak For Device
2Recently, developer James Whelton has managed to hack his 6th generation iPod Nano which he won recently at “some award.” His hack enabled him to bypass cache compression of the device, which resulted in the installation of a Springboard hack on the iPod Nano which allows for blank space creation.
The springboard hack is just the removal of a app and creation of a blank space. Not that amazing, but whats important is the bypass of Nano’s cache comparison, which compares any modded SB file and reverts it if it doesn’t like it, this opens up the possibility of hacking and modding, while More >
