Sony Announces “NGP” – Next-Gen PSP Featuring Quad Core Processor

Sony recently announced the next generation PlayStation Portable (PSP) which is codenamed NGP will be featuring a Quad-Core-Cortex A9 processor along with a Quad-Core PowerVR SGX543MP+GPU. The new iteration of the PSP will probably be the most powerful handhed to date, but unfortunately will not be available until this holiday season. The full specs can be found in the image below:

New Baseband Hack To Be Demoed At Pwn2Own; Unlock To Follow

This years Pwn2Own conference is shaping up to be rather interesting with the news of a new method of unlocking the iPhone baseband. Normally the unlocking of an iPhone wouldn’t be news enough to cause this kind of attention but this method is different. Next-Gen iPod Touch May Have Glasses-Free 3D Display

A recent report from a Japanese blog by the name of Macotakara states that according to their sources, Apple is toying with the idea of adding glass free 3D technology to the next generation of it’s iPod Touch. The iPod Touch would be a direct pocket-gaming competitor to Nintendo’s upcoming 3DS portable gaming console. A very exciting discovery has been found inside the iOS 4.3 beta regarding the future performance we’ll see from our iDevices.
