Just so you know, this procedure will cause you to upgrade your baseband, which will potentially ruin your chances for an unlock. One of the limitations of the Windows Phone 7 device is the lack of using the phone as a USB storage device. Now, thanks to a genius developer, you can use your Windows Phone 7 handset like a USB flash drive to store data on the go.

XDA forum member MarcHoover has developed a ‘USB Storage Enabler Tool’ for Windows Phone 7 which makes it easy to enable or disable the WP7 USB functionality.

You need to have Zune installed and one device connected for least one time. To enter the USB Storage you’ll close Zune.

Rumors from earlier this week suggest that Icy, Ripdevs Cydia alternative that was shut down and made open source after firmware 3.1.x release, is set to make appearance sometime this week. Folks from Infini-Dev Team have been working hard to bring us back our old Cydia alternative, the fast and light-weight Icy.

Back when iOS 4.3 was still in beta, it was all about the new fancy multitouch gestures for switching between apps as well as returning to the home screen on iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch. The feature actually never found its way into the final release unless you use Xcode and turn your iDevice into developer hardware. This isn’t strictly true though. As promised by the iPhone Dev Team and MuscleNerd, a new version of Ultrasn0w unlock has been released and is available to download. The new version support iOS 4.3.1, it is basically a patch fix and is developed by msft_guy and iH8sn0w (developer behind Sn0wbreeze). The previous version of Ultrasn0w was unable to unlock iPhone 4 and 3GS devices on iOS 4.3.1, but now you can use Ultrasn0w 4.3.1 fixer to unlock your device.
