Evo 4G users can already rejoice as more features start to come in for them. Evo users can enjoy unlimited free WiFi and Bluetooth tethering using the Wireless Tether for Root users (or simply Android-WiFi-Tether) app. The app’s main committer Harald Mue worked with a community contributor Andrew Robinson to get the app up and running. The community dedication was just simply amazing as the Evo was released just this past Friday.

If you are a Droid owner and were previously getting mad against the world for not having Android 2.2 for your device, there’s a reason to smile! MyDroidWorld has leaked a Froyo ROM complete with root and SuperUser permissions for your beloved device. Everything but Wi-Fi is included in the ROM and the only reason Wi-Fi was apparently removed was to “protect the original source” of the ROM. The Evo 4G was rooted some days ago, we have the instructions and it couldn’t be easier. If you’re new to this, we suggest you read through the thread at XDA Developers and then read through it again.  After you think you don’t have any more questions, read through it one more time.
