Apple has reduced the prices of the first generation iPad by $100 on its Online store after unveiling the 2nd generation iPad. This means that the 16GB Wi-Fi only iPad model is available for $399 and the 16GB Wi-Fi + 3G iPad model is available for $529.

Apple announced today at their iPad event that the iPad 2 would ship with a new version of iOS. Version iOS 4.3 is an update that builds on software additions found in previous versions of iOS 4.

iPad 2 Details Leaked On Amazon.de; Arriving March 17th

A screen capture shared by the folks at YourAppleDaily shows an ‘Apple iPad2 16GB’ listen on what appears to be Amazon Germany’s site (amazon.de).

According to the alleged screenshots, the iPad 2 features a 1.2 GHz Processor, Thunderbolt, and a camera. Ultra Thin Display Issues Could Limit Apple’s iPad 2 Supply

Supplies of the new iPad could be limited at launch due to production issues with a new ultra-thin glass screen, according to AppleInsider.
