Apple Releases iOS 5 Beta 2 With Wireless Sync Enabled
0Apple released the second beta version of its iOS 5 mobile operating system to its iOS developer website, as well as the second beta of iTunes 10.5. The release notes from Apple highlight only one new known feature, the ability to finally sync your iDevice wirelessly via Wi-Fi syncing.
To use the new wireless syncing features, users must have the newest iOS 5, iTunes 10.5 beta 2, and a Mac running Mac OS X 10.6.8 or OS X Lion. Users must then connect their device to their Mac with a USB cable for the the very last time. This will allow them to choose the wireless sync option.

JailbreakMe 3.0 Said To Be Released Sunday
0Comex previously tweeted that he had fixed all the unionfs issues that were hindering the iPad 2 jailbreak process through the userland (PDF) based jailbreak tool “JailbreakMe 3.0″ but it seems as he is still struggling to solve some of them. The good news for iPad 2 jailbreakers, is that Comex is ready to release his “JailbreakMe 3.0″ tool to jailbreak the iPad 2 within the next 48 hours, with or without fixing Unionfs issues. Some of the recent tweets made by Comex and Veeence confirm that the iPad 2 jailbreak, “JailbreakMe 3.0″ is just a day or two away from us.

JailbreakMe 3.0 Delayed AGAIN; No ETA Announced….
0JailbreakMe 3.0, which was mentioned to be released either Wednesday or Sunday (June 22 or June 26) by Comex is confirmed to be delayed. As of right now there is currently no known ETA as Comex needs to iron out the unionfs before releasing the jailbreak tool to the public. The jailbreak is on the horizon and will be released once it is ready for public release but until then, we have no choice but to wait patiently.
The delay was confirmed recently by another tweet made by @veeence, where he said the following:
There’s currently no public ETA on JailbreakMe 3.0. It all depends on More >
JailbreakMe 3.0 Confirmed; Includes Untethered Jailbreak For iPad 2
0In a previous article, @paulpols and @veeence, tweeted about @comex’s self-created deadline of “before wednesday” for the release of JailbreakMe 3.0. The userland jailbreak is set to support jailbreaking all devices from iPhone3GS through iPad2, iOS 4.2.1 to 4.3.3 (all untethered too). The biggest news here would be the jailbreak for the iPad 2, which has not been released due to it having the A5 chip as opposed to the A4 chip found in other current iOS devices.
Earlier, @veeence tweeted the following making the release seem uncertain:
If JailbreakMe 3.0 doesn’t drop tomorrow, blame More >

iOS 5 AirPlay Mirroring Demoed – Brings Games and More to HDTV
0One of the highly anticipated features of iOS 5 according to some is the AirPlay Mirroring. It is also a feature that many people seem to be confused about. It endows the iPad 2 with the ability to wirelessly mirror all video on the screen of the device to an Apple TV 2G. No longer is mirroring just enabled in a few apps here and there, anything on your iPad 2 can be blasted to the big screen with a few taps.
The folks over at Apple’nApps have produced a very thorough and amazing ten-minute video walkthrough of several iOS apps being beamed wirelessly to a large screen HDTV from an iPad 2. More >

Comex Releases JailbreakMe Teaser; iPad 2 Jailbreak Imminent
1The iPad 2 was released more than three months ago and the people who have purchased an iPad 2 and wait to jailbreak it, haven’t been able to satisfy their desire since no iPad 2 jailbreak has been released.
The new Apple A5 processor-based architecture in the iPad 2 is proving to be a difficult issue to overcome. The Limera1n exploit, which worked previously on A4-based iOS devices like the iPod Touch 4G and iPhone 4, is hardware-based and since the iPad 2 is A5-based, the exploit does not work on it. This leaves the community to find an all new exploit for the device.
