Google has just released a completely redesigned version of Google Mobile App and has also given it a new name – Google Search.
The Google Search app comes with features such as a new toolbar, quicker access to the search bar, number of improvements to features such as Google Goggles, Voice Search, Search with My Location, Gmail unread counts and more.

Apple Releases New iPhone Ad’s Dubbed ‘If you don’t have an iPhone’

Today Apple has added three new iPhone advertisements to its website and YouTube channel dubbed, “If you don’t have an iPhone”. The new ads highlight a few of the iPhone specific apps and uses that other phones just don’t posses.
The three new ads, titled iBooks, iPod & iTunes and App Store are available to watch on YouTube right now and are embedded below for your viewing pleasure:

The video shows a man who uses his iPhone, a video transmitter, and a repeater to hijack video billboards in Times Square. In a sense it looks like he’s hacked the video feeds going to these video billboards displayed in Times Square.

Untethered iOS 4.3 Jailbreak Delayed Until MobileSubstrate Works [Confirmed]

Stefan Esser’s untethered iOS 4.3 jailbreak may not be coming as soon as we thought after all. The hacker mentioned that his kernel exploit is “dependent” and will work, if and only if someone identifies a new bootrom exploit or a tethered jailbreak on iOS 4.3 using the existing limera1n exploit.
Since there is no public bootrom exploit for the iPad 2 at the moment, Stefan’s exploit will not currently work.
