iOS 4.3 Untethered Jailbreak Exploit Discovered [Video Proof]

3

The famous iOS hacker and Antid0te developer, Stefan Esser, has found an exploit to untethered jailbreak iOS 4.3 on the iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch already. He has posted a video showing proof of the untethered jailbreak running perfectly on an iPad as well. It’s nice to see a jailbreak come out just a day after the official release of the iOS software update as well. Being in alpha stage, the exploit might take time to fully develop but it still is nice to know it is already discovered and just needs time to be usable for the average user. The video proof can be seen below:

Apple Releases iTunes 10.2.1, Offers Java Updates For OS X

1

Apple has released an update to iTunes, 10.2.1 which is less than one week after iTunes 10.2. iTunes 10.2 enabled support for iOS 4.3 syncing, which we presume is simply a “bug fix update“.

In addition to the iTunes upgrade, Apple has released updates to Java for Mac OS X for both 10.5 Leopard and 10.6 Snow Leopard. The updates are related to security and can be found in the software update application. The update description is exactly the same as for iTunes 10.2, so it is unclear what has been changed since last week’s release at this time. Changes are presumably minor, however, More >

Apple is believed to be weighing its options out with regards to dumping the present iPhone 4 glass back design in favor of an aluminum back reminiscent of the very first iPhone that debuted almost four years ago. Based on the information acquired by the folks at Taiwan’s Economic Daily News, Apple is pushing ahead with an iPhone 5 design that is similar to the iPod Touch. Rumors aside, just thinking about the idea would suggest that Apple may dump their use of glass in favor More >
