0Recently, the folks over at XDA posted about (and since pulled) publicly available information that outlined how the WP7 Marketplace could be cracked. To some this was new and for others it was very old. For developers, the weakness was found in Microsoft’s DRM for Windows Phone 7 applications and had been well known for quite some time. There have also been many calls for Microsoft to address these concerns; an example can be found here on their official forums.
Since then, a security expert provided a proof-of-concept program that can successfully pull any application from the More >

Windows Phone 7 Developers Can Access Sales Tools
0When it comes to business and selling things, you have to be able to monitor sales. You have to know what’s working and what isn’t and most importantly, whether or not you’ll be bringing in the profit for the month. This is exactly why it was a bit surprising when Windows Phone 7′s app market launched without any sort of sales monitoring tools. Since its European launch back in mid-October, most WP7 developers have sort of been in the dark as to how their applications were doing.
Fortunately, Microsoft is doing away with this hang-up; as of yesterday, developers have been able to get their More >
