0As you would know, Microsoft unveiled its upcoming Windows Phone 7 OS at the Mobile World Congress at Barcelona yesterday. As part of the launch, the company released a teaser video attacking the iPhone and the other touchscreen phones, which the voice-over in the video says has resulted in a “sea of sameness”.

Verizon Brings Skype To BlackBerry And Android

0As rumored, Microsoft officially announced Windows Phone 7 Series at MWC 2010, the latest iteration of the Microsoft’s mobile platform.
For the first time, the OS previously known as Windows Mobile, has seen a complete overhaul from the user interface to the concept behind the OS. This is not your typical Windows Mobile phone but is more like the Zune HD on steroids.

Microsoft and Samsung Teaming Up to Take on Apple

As predicted, Microsoft today unveiled Windows Phone 7, the next-generation smartphone operating system.
One of the software’s key features is the use of integrated “hubs”, offering content views based on content rather than specific applications. Hubs will include People, Pictures, Games, Music+Video, Marketplace, and Office.

Mozilla has been at work and finally released a Firefox Mobile, which went live on Maemo5. The mobile version retains much of the original Firefox features and includes WeaveSync for keeping tabs, passwords, and bookmarks the same on desktop and mobile versions.
