Apple Tablet Info Spilled by McGraw-Hill’s CEO

Apple is definitely launching a tablet tomorrow, at least, according to the CEO of one of the planet’s most noted book publishers. Microsoft working on a Zune Phone?

The Microsoft Zune’s scheduled maintenance that started early this morning at 1:00 a.m. EST. is not terrible news unless you are a Zune user.  There were 3 phone profiles found in the Zune.inf file of the maintenance release. It’s rather BIG NEWS, especially since Microsoft has repeatedly stated that they had no plans to add mobile phone to the Zune since before the original Zune’s release.

Apple’s iPhone will be available to all Carriers in US?

Tim Horan, a telecommunications analyst at Oppenheimer &Co is predicting that Apple’s iPhonewill be available on all US carriers over the next 18 months.

According to Tim, this change in strategy in the US will help Apple sell two or three times more iPhones. The strategy of multiple carriers is already paying rich dividends in the UK.

Tim Horan said:

We believe AT&T’s iPhone exclusivity arrangement with Apple will be expiring by mid-2010.

Not long ago there were rumors of BIS 3.0 and 3.1 bringing a bunch of highly anticipated changes. And, now BBLeaks is saying that there are a few more additions we can expect as well.

PS3 hacked by iPhone Hacker (George Hotz)

iPhone hacker who gained props for unlocking Apple’s iPhone as a teenager (George Hotz) has told BBC News that he has now hacked Sony’s PlayStation 3 (PS3).

George Hotz said the hack, which could allow people to run pirated games or homemade software, took him five weeks.

Hotz rose to fame in 2007 at the age of 17 when he unlocked the iPhone, which could only be used on the AT&T network in the US at launch.

The hack allowed the popular handset to be used on any network.
