Barnes and Noble’s “Nook” Now In Stores

Barnes and Noble has finally kicked production of the Nook in high gear, just in time for Valentine’s Day. For those of you who are unfamiliar with what the Nook is, it is Barnes and Noble’s e-reader (which will start to appear in stores this week). The company released plenty of exclusive features along with the release of its product including “More In Store” content including:

  • A short story by Adriana Trigiani
  • A Valentine’s Day recipe for red velvet cupcakes from Anne Byrn, the Cake Mix Doctor

Apple finally opened up application-enabled hardware development in iPhone OS 3.0, we really wish an accessory like this had been available for the iPhone right from the start.

Rumor has it that Watch Instantly fans might be seeing an upgrade, as CNET has heard news that the company will be rolling out 1080p sometime soon and 5.1 surround sound and closed captioning later this year. HTC’s New Phone ‘Incredible” Leaked

The HTC Incredible, which first made leaked rumors back in December turns out to be the real deal. Pocket Now has released some sneak peak information on the phone. Including a brown colored version:

The phone seems to have wacky shapes in the back and is probably a prototype placeholder (or so we can hope.) Some of the specs have been released including an Android 2.1 OS with HTC Sense, running on a Snapdragon CPU. It is rumored to be running on 256mb RAM which is accompanied by a 3.5′-3.7′ WVGA screen. Turbine Light [Concept] Wind Used To Light Roadways

There is a new concept rumor in the air known as the Turbine Light concept, in regards to eco-friendly concepts. The Turbine Light harnesses the power of the wind from cars rushing past it to light up the roadways. The turbines end up using the wind that is collected to generate energy to light up each lamp post. Specifications are not known fully yet but it is sure to show up in the upcoming Greener Gadgets conference on February 25th.
