Apple Releases iOS 4.2.2 (iOS 4.3.3 Build 8F305) For Apple TV 2G

Apple has released iOS 4.2.2 firmware build 8F305 for Apple TV 2G and it is now available for download. Apple Releases iOS 4.2.1 (iOS 4.3.1 Build 8F202) For Apple TV 2G; Fixes Flickering Bug

Apple has released an iOS 4.2.1 (iOS 4.3.1 – build 8F202) update for 2nd-gen Apple TV that brings fix to video flickering issue when the set top box is used on televisions that were attempting to convert the Apple TV’s 720p output to 1080i format. Apple TV Fix Currently In The Works

The folks over at AppleInsider are reporting that Apple is preparing a small software update for Apple TV that will alleviate screen flickering issues that many users have reported from the 4.2 update (which is actually a build of iOS 4.3).

Apple support has also confirmed that they are “aware of the issues caused by the latest update,” but there is no current timeframe for the update’s release. Greenpois0n RC6.1 Released; Patches iBooks Issue

The Chronic Dev team has just released Greenpois0n RC6.1 for Mac and Windows and is available for download. The latest version addresses the issue with iBooks. In past few days, all greenpois0n Jailbreakers, who attempted to open e-books purchased from the iBook store were prompted with an error message: There is a problem with the configuration of your iPhone.
