Motorola DEVOUR Coming to Verizon Wireless
0Verizon Wireless and Motorola officially announced the Motorola DEVOUR’s availability on America’s largest wireless carrier.
This Android handset features:
- MOTOBLUR, a 3.1″ capacitive touch screen,
- touch-sensitive track pad
- 3G connectivity,
- aGPS, Bluetooth
- a micro-SD card slot.
Available in early March, this device will fall under Verizon’s list of “advanced devices†and require a $29.99 data plan and, will come with a $350 early termination fee as well.
VZ Navigator updated for Blackberry
0Verizon went ahead and updated VZ Navigator to version 5.1. VZ Navigator has taken a full turn in becoming a very useful application other than just turn by turn direction. On the main screen as soon as you open, you’ll notice that the name of the town you are in (along with the nearest street name) displayed up top with local search results as well. The local results include weather, movie theaters with times, gas prices, events, and concerts.

Apple’s iPhone will be available to all Carriers in US?
0Tim Horan, a telecommunications analyst at Oppenheimer &Co is predicting that Apple’s iPhonewill be available on all US carriers over the next 18 months.
According to Tim, this change in strategy in the US will help Apple sell two or three times more iPhones. The strategy of multiple carriers is already paying rich dividends in the UK.
Tim Horan said:
We believe AT&T’s iPhone exclusivity arrangement with Apple will be expiring by mid-2010.

Is Apple Going to Announce iPhone 4G with OS 4.0 on Verizon?
