Windows Phone 7 Tango Update Rumored For March/April Release

A recent post from Digitimes suggests that Windows Phone 7 Tango update would go live in March or April, based on Microsoft’s roadmap for Windows Phone outlined in a rumor.
The largest update, Apollo or possibly Windows Phone 8, was slated for its expected late 2012 release. However, a “large volume” of devices based on it would ship in the initial half of 2013.

Samsung Agrees To Pay Microsoft Royalties On Android Sales
0Microsoft announced on Wednesday that the company has signed a cross-licensing agreement with Samsung. As a result of the agreement, Microsoft will be receiving royalties from Samsung for its Android-powered smartphones and tablets. Xbox Live To Be Integrated Into Windows 8

Nokia Plans To Release Windows Phone Devices Frequently

Windows Phone 7 ‘Mango’ Update To Deliver Over 500 New Features
0According to a Japanese Microsoft Developers Forum, Microsoft’s CEO confirmed that the next Windows Phone update, codenamed Mango, will add “over 500 new features” to the mobile operating system.
Microsoft has an event scheduled for Tuesday, May 24th in New York City, during which it will unveil the new update (again) and discuss its features in greater detail.
